Owner Chris Shults grew up in Seattle & started in the window industry in 1984 at Washington Natural Gas (now known as Puget Sound Energy).
In 1997, a few years after Puget Power & WNG merged to form PSE, Chris who was the Window Division Manager left to start Emerald City Energy.
With him came the top two installation crews out of the twenty five at Washington Natural Gas. Since our inception, Emerald City has added a third extremely experienced "in house" crew to complement one of the Puget Sound's most experienced sales, service, & installation teams.
With our average industry experience of over 25 years each, Emerald City offers homeowners a team of employees that has serviced the Seattle & Bellevue - Kirkland residential window market for more than 30 years.
Operating out of offices & warehouses in Renton Washington, with additional warehouses in Marysville, Covington, & Kent, Emerald City has the ability to quickly service our customers needs with timely proposals or needed window service.
