A note on images and finishes. Smooth fiberglass doors arrive primed and ready for paint; oakgrain doors take a gel stain; Onyx doors come factory-finished black. The pictures are product renderings shown for design reference — glass designs are shown in a representative door body, and the Bauhaus doors are drawn to scale from the catalog. Availability and lead times change; we will confirm both before you commit.

Good to Know

Alliance fiberglass door questions

Who makes these fiberglass doors?

Every door on this page is an Alliance Door Systems fiberglass entry door, built on Plastpro fiberglass slabs and pre-hung by Alliance Door Products in Washington. Emerald City Energy supplies and installs the Alliance line across the greater Seattle area.

Smooth or oakgrain: which fiberglass should I choose?

Smooth fiberglass has a flat, paint-ready skin and is the most popular choice for a painted front door. Oakgrain (textured) fiberglass carries a real wood texture that takes gel stain, for the look of an oak door without the upkeep of wood.

What is Nova 90, and what does Onyx mean?

Nova 90 is Alliance's contemporary glass door with narrow stiles and a large glass area. The Onyx version is finished black at the factory, inside and out, so it matches black windows and trim without a paint step.

Are Alliance fiberglass doors available in 7-foot and 8-foot heights?

Many designs are stocked in 6'8", 7'0", and 8'0" heights. Filter by height to see only the doors offered at the height you need; the lightbox lists every height for a design.

What does Special Order mean on a door?

Most doors here are stocked by Alliance in Washington and ship quickly. A design tagged Special Order is built to order, so expect a longer lead time. We confirm availability and lead time before you commit.

Does Emerald City Energy install Alliance fiberglass doors in Seattle?

Yes. We supply and professionally install Alliance fiberglass entry doors throughout Seattle, Tacoma, Bellevue, Everett, and the greater Puget Sound, including jamb, hardware prep, weatherstripping, and finish carpentry.
